A mobile notary is a commissioned Notary Public who travels to the signer. I meet clients at homes, offices, hospitals, care facilities, detention centers, and other agreed locations by appointment.

Have the completed document, every signer who must appear, a physical form of identification that meets California requirements, and any required witnesses. Do not leave blanks that should be completed before notarization.

A jurat must be signed in the notary's presence. A document requiring an acknowledgment may already be signed, but the signer must personally appear and acknowledge the signature. If you do not know which notarial act is required, ask the document issuer, preparer, or an attorney before the appointment.

No. California notaries cannot select or recommend a notarial act for a client. Check the document, contact the document issuer, or consult an attorney. Once you tell me the notarial act you need, I can complete the appropriate certificate.

A document may be written in another language, but I must be able to communicate directly with the signer without an interpreter. Contact me before booking so we can confirm whether the appointment can proceed.

Witness requirements come from the document or the party receiving it. Please arrange required witnesses in advance and confirm their eligibility with the document issuer or preparer. I do not provide legal advice about witness requirements.

Yes, based on availability and facility access rules. The signer must personally communicate, present acceptable identification, and willingly participate. Contact me with the facility name, room or unit details, visiting restrictions, and document type.

Send the document type, who issued or notarized it, the issuing state or federal agency, the destination country, your deadline, and whether you need pickup, mail-in, or return shipping.

I can coordinate the apostille or authentication process based on the information you provide. The receiving agency or destination-country authority determines its own acceptance requirements. Confirm those requirements directly before submitting the document.

The notarial fee is $15 per notarized signature for acknowledgments and jurats. A separate mobile travel fee applies and is confirmed before booking. Other agreed charges may apply for printing, scanning, special locations, waiting, or unusual scheduling needs.

Same-day service may be available depending on location, appointment length, and the day's schedule. Texting is the quickest way to check availability.
