At Paper & Seal Notary & Apostille Services, I offer reliable mobile notary services for living trust documents. As a Certified Notary Trust Delivery Agent (CNTDA), I facilitate trust signings for documents prepared by attorneys, paralegals, and self-service platforms such as LawDepot or LegalZoom, and others. I ensure documents are properly executed by notarizing required signatures and guiding each signing with care, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
A living trust is a legal document that allows the Grantor to place assets into a trust during their lifetime. The Grantor, who creates the trust, often also serves as Trustee and manages the assets while living. A Revocable Living Trust allows the Grantor to change or cancel the trust at any time. The trust also names a Successor Trustee to manage the trust if the Grantor becomes unable to do so or passes away.
A Certification of Trust is a summary document used to confirm the existence of a trust and the identity of the current Trustee, without needing to share the full trust document.
A Pour-Over-Will works with a living trust to ensure that any assets left outside of the trust are transferred, or "poured over", into the trust after the Grantor's death.
A Schedule A or Schedule C is a list attached to the trust that identifies which assets are included. The title may vary depending on the estate plan.
A Durable Power of Attorney allows the Principal to appoint an Agent to handle financial or legal matters on their behalf. "Durable" means the document remains effective if the Principal becomes incapacitated.
A General Power of Attorney authorizes an Agent to act on behalf of the Principal for a broad range of matters, as specified in the document.
A Financial Power of Attorney authorizes an Agent to manage financial matters for the Principal, including banking, bill payments, and asset management.
A HIPAA Authorization permits medical providers to share a person's health information with designated individuals.
An Advanced Health Care Directive allows a person to appoint a Health Care Agent to make medical decisions if they are unable to make those decisions if they are unable to do so. It may also outline their treatment and care preferences.
A Funding Letter is used to transfer assets into a trust. It may be sent to a bank, financial institution, or company to update ownership or account information so the asset is properly linked to the trust.
A Guardianship Nomination allows a parent to name who will care for their minor child if they are unable to do so.
A Special Needs Trust is designed to provide for a person with special needs while helping protect their eligibility for certain benefits.
